Registration and installation’s use

  • It is necessary to go to the reception hall as soon as someone arrives to get registered and be informed of the room assigned. It is not allowed to change rooms without previous authorization by the receptionists.
  • The cleaning of the rooms during the activities will be done by the people accommodated in them.
  • By the end of the activity the room must be organised and the sheets must be placed in the baskets, located in the dormitory building’s entry.
  • If the installations get damaged because of the actions of the users, they will be responsible of the damages. In case they are minors the responsibility and the consequences derived from those actions will fall on the parents or on whoever holds custody of them.
  • Parents are responsible for taking care of their children once the children’s activities are finished; therefore, they are asked not to leave their children unattended.
  • Minors cannot leave the Study Centre without the company of an adult or permission by the Management Board. After the silent time, leaving the installations may result in an expulsion from the Study Centre.
  • For security reasons, the access to the kitchen is limited exclusively to those who are rendering service in that field.
  • It is not allowed to take food to the rooms. The installations are located in the field and leftovers attract ants and other insects.
  • It is not allowed the entrance of pets except for guide dogs.
  • It is not allowed to sell products in the Study Centre without previous approval of the Management Board.

Caring for the environment

  • When leaving the rooms, lights should be turned off and taps should be closed.
  • Friends are kindly requested to use water rationally since there is no sewage system and the cleaning and disposal of the septic tank should be done by truck. The cost of the emptying is five times greater that the supply’s cost.

Participation in the activities and schedule

  • Attendees are expected to participate in all the programmed sessions, leaving, therefore, the rooms and other common spaces, so that the service staff can work freely.
  • The entry and exit time from the Study Centre is from 8:00 am to 11:30 pm.
  • The time limit for night time activities is 12:00 pm, after which attendees are requested to go to their rooms and be silent.
  • At 1:00 am all lights will be turned off.
  • In order to achieve a good development of the programme, the Schedule must be respected, especially the times referred to breakfast and silent time. If anyone remains outside his/her room during silent time for no justifiable reasons preventing others to sleep, he/she will be conveniently admonished. The organizers of the activity may adopt other measures if deemed appropriate.

Cohabitation rules

  • The Study Centre is sustained largely by the service of the volunteers that attend to its activities. Attendees are asked get involved in cleaning, kitchen service and other needs.
  • For the stay in the Study Centre to be as pleasant as possible, attendees are asked to practice fellowship and solidarity, and to avoid conducts that would annoy the rest of users, including unnecessary noises and disturbance.
  • Since the installations are used for an educational purpose, attendees are called to be decorous in dress.
  • Attendees are asked to care for their personal hygiene daily.
  • It is completely forbidden to consume drugs and alcohol, as well as to smoke in the whole area of the Study Centre, including outdoor spaces.
  • Attendees are expected to pay respect to all the Study Centre staff.
  • The Management Board has the authority over the admission of those who do not enforce, or have previously violated, the General Rules of the Baha’i Study Centre of Llíria.
